There are many opportunities which you can find on Do-It.org or by contacting us directly.

Opening times: Monday to Friday - 09:30 - 13.30hrs. We offer 1:1 confidential appointments. Anyone can volunteer and there are opportunities for all ages, skills and interests. We can help you access training and will support you throughout.

ARCh Readers to go into schools

An ARCh Reading Helper visits a local school twice a week spending half an hour each with 3 children aged up to 11. The school selects children who they believe will benefit from the additional help of an ARCh volunteer. The child may be struggling with reading, lack language skills or have little confidence.The volunteer talks to the child, reads books and plays games supplied by ARCh.

Connection Outreach Service Mentor

Liaising and communicating effectively with Connection's Support workers to understand a client's individual needs. Contacting third party agencies to gain support and advice for clients. Assisting clients with form filing. Accompanying clients to appointments, meetings, day centres, etc


To support the team to raise funds to maintain the services already provided and also increase options. The charity is staffed by qualified and experienced workers supported by volunteers. We offer a range of services aimed at helping young people from becoming homeless and supporting those who have.
